It's 17th November today; the 20th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia (nowadays as the Czech Republic).

I guess it isn't necessary to describe this event. You guys watch TV, read newspapers and go to school and - the most important - you can easily google it. Or, find out the Wikipedia article called "Velvet Revolution"; it says pretty much about the event. [link]

I haven't been born in 1989 so there are no personal impressions to share. However the theme is important for me, too.
In 1989, my parents have just finished their studies on the university, my mum has started to work and my dad has been in Prague doing his military service. He told me that they were not allowed to go out and he has been really worried that he would have to go to supress the demonstration...

Sooo, although I haven't been existing 20 years ago, I still feel that this day is the important one, the one not to be forgotten (and sadly I am ashamed that other teenagers don't think the same).
Well I hope that (maybe) some of you read the whole journal and let me say: LOVE, PEACE, FREEDOM.
